Procedure for transferring .CH / .LI domain name

The transfer is free because it is just a change of the billing contact and the technical contact without a domain name renewal. You will benefit from all our services until the expiration of the domain name, when you will have to renew with NETIM.

Requirements
In order to proceed with a transfer, the domain name's owner must approve the transfer.

Different stages
Once your order has been confirmed, we will send a change request for your domain name to the registry SWITCH. The latter will contact the owner by email to request its approval for the change of the billing contact:

• In the event of acceptance, the transfer is immediatly carried out.
• In the event of refusal, the transfer is cancelled.

You can transfer your domain whenever you want, no need to wait for the expiration in order to complete the domain transfer.

   Important information

• Deadline for transfer: 2 to 3 days before your domain name's expiration date
• Ideal date for transfer: 2 weeks before expiration of your domain name
• The owner's email address must be valid in order to receive the confirmation request emailed from the registry
• The transfer can be carried out within 24 hours, if the owner's confirmation is given quickly.
