Local trustee service

What is a local trustee service?

In some countries extensions (ccTLDs), the registration of a domain name is restricted to companies or individual who have a local presence in the country.

Generally, these addresses are requested for the administrative contacts who are contacted by the registry for all matters relating to domain name. (For example ADR procedures, procedures for verifying the holder after registration, etc.)

What are local addresses proposed by NETIM?

Thanks to specific agreements with local partners, or through a local presence on our own, we can offer you the foothold you need to register domains in :

  • France
  • Netherlands
  • Germany
  • Luxemburg

In any case, NETIM may not replace the holder or act as a proxy if the applicant does not fall within the rules of attribution of the extension. We can only provide the local presence needed for the registration.

How to benefit from local presence?

During the order process, if your address doesn't corresponds with the local presence required by the extension, you will be able to indicate your choice of using NETIM as local contact.
