  • a personal residing within the European Community
  • a company with a registered office or central administration within the European Community
  • an organisation set up within the European Community

Renewal:

A renewal extends the domain name for one year. Renewal procedures must be carried out before the domain's expiration date otherwise the domain will switch to quarantine status for a 40 day period before being removed. During this status, the domain is no longer active but can still be restored.

Change of owner:

This procedure is called a “trade” and allows the owner to sell a domain name to a third party. During a trade, the seller and the buyer receive a mail for approval from the registry. When both responses are positives, the trade is completed.
